Hah

It took me a while to realize where the 1st beat was. I'll be honest, I love songs like that, they really catch me in a good way. This one starts a little repetitive, but it still comes out as good as "Aspire"... To be honest, these are inspirations. You're definitely above average, and to my untrained ears, you sound professional! Don't let zero bombers stop you from uploading!!

Audikore responds:

Thanks Dude! will continue on and make some Noise to the world! :D

Really good!!

I beg you to finish this, and definitely keep what you have pretty much as is.

weemeee responds:

I'm a little occupied with stuff at the moment (Working on music for a game) but i'll definitely try to finish this as soon as possible.
thanks for the review!

Simple

But still very enjoyable. I love your bassline throughout the song! I do wish it was a little longer though, but I like it all the same!

davidx955 responds:

Thanks Dude, I'll Try To Make a Longer Version

Wow

Again, great work! A good upbeat dance remix of that almost dragging song. Excellent harmonies too; that's what makes it more than just a cover remix.

halfdeadorfull responds:

Thanks so much! :D

Whoaa...

I'm favoriting you for this. This brings back memories of third grade, makes me wish I hadn't worn out my old Crystal cartridge ;.; Excellent dream remix!! You captured the feeling of the song perfectly. Off to check your other Pokemon stuff like the nine year old I am!

halfdeadorfull responds:

Oh my gosh, thanks so much :D I'm so glad you like it :D Yeah, when I was playing through this game when it first came out, I was too young to know about remixes and stuff like that, but I knew I wanted to do something with this song, like learn it on piano or ANYTHING. I love this song so much, and this whole soundtrack really. Such a great game :D Thanks!

Nice!

The only problem is the percussion; you should use a bit more variety in your songs. Other than that, creative, awesome, great!! Keep it up man!

mushu55t responds:

Thank you very much! About the percussion, it's what I got so I'm making lemonade with life's lemons.

Truthful

I like the time signature. It's a pleasant change from the blocky 4/4 that I always here on n.... Actually, anywhere on the internet. I know it changes to 4/4, but it fails to fall into the blockiness (inventing new words) that I mentioned, and I'm sure you know what I mean by that. Excellent job! I do believe I'm downloading this.

AKACCMIOF responds:

Thanks very much! I think I may pursue this road further! :)
And BTW, I totally get what you mean! :P The predominate time signature is actually 21/8, as there are three time signatures converging for most of the piece, a part in 8/8, 7/8 and 6/8. I figure, as everyone wants the tension created by the jumpy restarting of each of the motifs to resolve it would be shooting myself in the foot not to resolve to a rough 4/4. Very very glad you enjoyed :)

So pumped to listen

I didn't realize it was a demo til I noticed the loop-repeat-type skipping sound. You still get a 10/10 cause it's sounding great so far... Almost professional, and I'm gonna love the full song. I can pretty much tell that now. Let me know when it's out, so I can get right onto listening please!!

Mea-Anima responds:

Hey Jay

I will inform you immediately when it is finished.
In the meantime, i got another track finished.
I uploaded the cut to NG and the full version is on Soundcloud (link is in the description at the cutted version on NG).

Thanks for dropping a review !!

Meh

I'm stabbing myself for this, but I generally don't like dubstep.

That said, I like this song. It's not your usual "HAY GUISE FOUR MINUTE DISTORTED SAW, CAN THAT BE A SONG????" but it's somewhat close..... This one's just a little repetitive. You're above the usual dub I hear, but I've heard better. I'm sorry, I'm just extremely critical of the genre.

7.5/10 (which rounds up), and 4/5, sorry man but just can't get into this stuff.

Dj-ReVeRsE responds:

that's fine.. I never used to like dubstep at all..... it has sort of grown on me and now I like it... I still prefer trance though :P

YES!

First of all, MENTIONED IN YOUR COMMENTS!! Let me know if it's better! Even if I prefer FL 9 better after trying it, I had to try it just to see.

Now to the song :P I'm really liking your trance sounds, always love your trance, but I feel like it's slightly repetitive. Of course, I can't make a THREE minute trance song without repetition, so I shouldn't be shooting you down. I think it's your off-beat bass line through the entire song, sounds like a squelch bass... It's just there the whole time, seems like, and I think it's dragging you a little.

The best part is just the peacefulness of it all. I love the piano addition, always love a piano addition though, always love that when it's done right. Another great job, but that bass line is still holding me back, I'm sorry. Keep it up though!! Don't let me stop you.

Dj-ReVeRsE responds:

yeah, i do prefer fl studio 10 better... much easier to use, although i still need to get used to a few things :P!
